Default Customizing and unCustomizing Weapons

well we all know that for 10 gold we can Customze a Weapon. What would be nice mybe Pay 100 gold to UnCustomize the Weapon so it could be sold for what its realy worth in game other then like 35 gold..Also would help when you have a guildie that uses a Weapon ofr your and dosent Realize he has custimized the weapon you let him use tell he could find a better one for him self.. Just and Idea I had.

That's the penalty for having that extra % damage. It's yours unless you want to unload it at the merchant.

Makes you think twice before you customize.

im digging that idea, would be good for entry lvl characters, so they can get a nice item and then sell it back later on, and also between characters in one account

The whole point of customizing is so you WON'T be able to sell them again. If you simply allow people to uncustomize items, think of all the collector weapons and Drok's armor that would get sold to newbies... Definitely no.

Ok, here's another thought...What if you just wanted to use the item between your characters, if you customized it you would not be able to switch the item. Say you just changed your secondary proff to warrior for one character, but on your other character you have a nice green sword thats customized for that character. You now have to go farm again (increasinly hard now with the drop percentage, plus if you dont have money to buy another one). I could see decustomization of items between YOUR perchaced game accounts (prophecies and factions). Is there a compromise?

u do make a valid point, but if you limit it to only weapons then its not that big of a deal, anway all u need is like 3k and u can get from ascalon to droks, so stopping newbies from getting droks armor is pointless

dont know were the Armor came into play I was talking about weapons you cant go out and Customize your armor other then when you buy it for the armorer.. Iwas talking about the weapons guy the gives you that 20% for your weapon. armor is not the point I was talking about any way..

i lost weapons cuz i customized them and i wanted 2 delete that char (ranger) but i still would rather not let ppl uncustomize cuz if they paid 10gold for the extra 20% dmg that's their problem if u wanna sale it later then dont customize it, or just customize a collectors item dont customize it unless u ready 2 lose all value of that weapon

/not signed. That's the whole point of CUSTOMIZING something. Being able to uncustomize would be dumb.

...the whole point of customizing is that it can't be undone. They might as well just take it out of the game entirely and put an automatic +20% on everything, rather than add uncustomizing.

Customized my first bow in Pre. Haven't customized a weapon since, in case I want to sell, trade, or lend it out.

10 gold to customize, 10 k to un-customize.

Some people scam by selling customized weapons.

Never been scammed yet in a trade (knock on wood), because take the time to read what you are buying or they are offering.
